Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Statera Software ApS ("Statera", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Danish Data Protection Act (databeskyttelsesloven).
1. Data controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
- Statera Software ApS
- CVR (company reg. no.): 45930920
- Ny Banegårdsgade 55, 3., 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark
- Email: info@statera.app
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data that you provide directly and data collected automatically:
- Contact and demo requests: name, work email, company, role, phone number (optional), your area of interest, and any message you send us through our contact form or by email.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and interactions with the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (subject to your consent) and server logs.
- Spam-protection data: data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that form submissions are made by a human rather than an automated bot.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes and legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
- To respond to your enquiries and provide demos, based on our legitimate interest in answering requests and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
- To operate, secure, and improve our website, including spam and abuse prevention, based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- For analytics and non-essential cookies, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and responding to lawful requests (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which we collect through our consent banner (Cookiebot). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the banner. Strictly necessary and security cookies (for example, those used by Cloudflare Turnstile) are used to provide the service you request and do not require consent.
5. Recipients and data processors
We share personal data only with service providers ("data processors") that process it on our behalf under data processing agreements, including:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, and bot/spam protection (Turnstile).
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics): cookie consent management.
- Twenty CRM: managing contact and demo requests you submit to us.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. International transfers
We aim to keep personal data within the EU/EEA. Where a processor transfers data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Contact and demo enquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle the request and our ongoing relationship, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, accounting records under Danish bookkeeping law).
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- Request restriction of processing;
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- Data portability;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@statera.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk).
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
11. Contact
